Here is a better version of what appears to be the 6/27/12 performance.

That is the best vid I've seen so far this whole summer. There are several up of this performance, but are awful. This is from Central Park on July 3rd. It is the second time she played it and it drags just like GD, but not as bad! Needs to be seasoned. Even though GD is almost the exclusive listening choice on her bus this summer, her European boys are still trying to find the music. It would be a better fit with The Handsome Band or the Little Willies. She's like Jerry (only in the respect) that she has several bands (Puss n' Boots and her currant unnamed one round it out to four).

I really like her music and agree that with some added performances her version of Roses will improve,I am not as well versed in her bands personnel as you are,but have to say I have always been underwhelmed by her support musicians.

I agree with you. There is a musician or two I would pick from each band, but at this point I would think she has many choices. The boy band she has now are just above awful. Actually, that's not fair. The drummer and bassist are good. The guitarist is a colorist which for me usually means he isn't very good. (I'm sorry Andy Summers, but the Police would have been so much better w/ a different guitarist.) Most of her album sales are in Europe, so maybe her boy band (all European) has something to do with it.
